Q. What is a domain transfer? A. Domain names are registered through a domain registrar. There are many domain name registrars out there including us. When you transfer a domain you are changing who you are using to manage your domain name. You can transfer a domain name from any registrar to our service. Each domain transfer includes a 1 year extension to the expiration date of your domain. Prior to transferring a domain to our service, ensure you have the Registrar Lock off at your current registrar. If transferring a .org, .us, .info or .biz domain name, you must supply us with your "EPP Transfer Authorization Code". This can be obtained from your current registrar.
